The ODF Wiki is an encyclopedia about the Open Descent Foundation. Reading this article, your are already surfing in the wiki!
The wiki is running on the ODF's server (http://www.odf-online.org) and kept up by D.Cent.
To get to the main page, click here. Since November 15, 2008, the wiki also has a subforum in the ODF Forum.

Since D.Cent thought that there was not enough information about the ODF on the ODF Homepage, he started a poll on whether a new information system was wanted and on how to realize it on October 15, 2008. The poll ended on October 27 with the following results:
- "Yes, a FAQ-page" 2 members, 40%
- "Yes, a Howto-page" 0 members
- "Yes, a Wiki" 3 members, 60%
- "No, we don't need that" 0 members

So, Cent set up the wiki on 13rd November 2008 and announced it on 24th April 2009.
[edit] Logo
The ODF wiki usually carries the ODF logo in the top left corner. Since 10th September 2009, this is the third ODF logo. Since it can be colored, it was chosen to make the default red color of the logo grey. Thus, the logo fits the wiki better.

[edit] Addons
On February 10, 2009, D.Cent installed the ConfirmEdit extension to avoid spambots. On June 4, 2009, D.Cent installed the GeSHi SyntaxHighlight (link leads to a blank page) addon, which automatically displays source code in color.

On March 1, 2010, The ODF wiki has:
- 76 articles (October 2009: 64)
- 27 (October: 25) uploaded files
- more than 15,500 views (October: more than 8,000 views)
- more than 800 (October: 600) times that an article was edited
- 10 (October: 8) registered users
